 I watched all of the episodes for JJK that came out recently. One of my favorite scenes, and surprisingly one I didn't really need subtitles for, was the Maki fight, where Maki ends the Zenin clan in a very Kill Bill- reminiscent way. At an N3 level, I don't really think you need to watch this fight with subtitles, as a lot of the characters talk in a very straightforward, action-packed way.  I recommend other people learning Japanese to try out just listening to the Japanese in these fight scenes, because it gives you a better understanding of what people are saying and how they're saying it than the subtitles do.

春休みは友達とシャーロッツビルに行きました。UVAのセイント・パトリック・デイをしました。パーティーに行ったり、UVAの友達と会ったりしました。UVAの前にワシントンD.C.にいきました。あるひ、Georgetownを旅行して、きれいなたてものをみました。ノートルダムだいがくみたいよ！そして、たくさん電車を使ったので、旅行の時とても疲れたんです。でも、友達の祖父母飲み済み家に行って、たくさんゆっくりしました。

 1.応援してるスポーツ選手はブロンコスです。でも、最近、semifinalが失って、とても寂しいです。 2.よろこばせたい人は私の母です。電話をかけたりいい成績をとったりしたらいいと思います。そして、もしそのことをしたら嬉しいです。 3.エヴァンゲリオンは一番感動しました映画です。エヴァンゲリオンのキャラクターを見た時は私の経験がエヴァンゲリオンのキャラクターと似ていた。とても感動しました。     

For this blog post I watched around 5 episodes of the new anime Fate/Strange Fake in Japanese with subtitles. While watching I noticed a lot of the new vocabulary being used, especially the causative and passive forms. What I found difficult, however, was the different ways in which characters might speak casually to each other and how that translates to different types of meanings. Some of the characters in this anime seem to speak very poetically, which is quite difficult to catch and translate in my head as they're speaking.  I do recommend this anime though, Fate as a franchise has been making some extremely good material ever since Fate/Zero.  

 高校生の時私の一番たのしかったことは番たのしかったことはディベートのクラブです。私はパブリックフォーラムのクラブ会長。いろいろなコンペがあって、とても難しくて、私の話すの能力が増えました。高校生のクラブが楽しかったんですが、クラブが時間をかかりすぎました。それから、英語のクラスが面白くて、村上さんの本を読んで、とても楽しかったです。

 I watched this video about a sports day at a Japanese high school. It was kind of cool to see the differences in culture and how the entire school takes part in activities such as this. Although there wasn't much instances of Japanese, what Japanese there was I could perfectly understand without the subtitles and/or the side conversations. The sports day consisted of basketball, volleyball, and some sort of gathering. A lot of the Japanese spoken was also casual, which makes sense considering they're all classmates.
